HENKEI is a free transformation trainer by JPEdLab. Work through 200 original exercises, then put 10 of them to the test.
Exercises build on a Japanese transformation research collection and are mapped to the corresponding JPEdLab grammar lessons. Practice is ordered from simple patterns to exceptions and sentence context.
Each correct answer earns one point. Standard alternative forms, kana and romaji are accepted where appropriate. Practice uses standard written Japanese; a prompt may request a specific form.
