んだ (~nda / ~ndesu): casual のだ
〜のだ〜んだ
"~nda" and "~ndesu" are the spoken forms of ~no da / ~no desu, used to explain a reason (頭が痛いんです) or ask about a situation (どうしたんですか).
How to make it
Plain form + んだ. For na-adjectives and nouns, use なんだ (静かなんだ, 学生なんだ).
